About Logkeeper

Logkeeper is a communication app for construction teams. This privacy policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Name when you create an account
• Email address when you create an account
• Phone number when you create an account or add to your profile
• Profile picture (optional)
• Messages and photos you share
• Documents and files you upload

• Device information (type, operating system)
• App usage data

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Logkeeper service
• Enable communication between team members
• Store and sync your files and messages
• Send you important project notifications
• Improve our app

Phone Numbers and SMS

We use your phone number to send one-time verification codes when you sign up or log in. We send these only in response to an action you take.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering these messages.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. If SMS is your login method, opting out may prevent you from signing in.

Permissions We Need

We need camera access to let you take photos of construction sites and document work progress.

Photo Library

We need photo library access to let you upload existing photos to your projects.

Internet

We need internet access to sync your data and enable team communication.

Storage

We need storage access to save files for offline use.

• Your data is stored securely in the cloud
• Files are also saved locally on your device for offline access
• All data transmission is encrypted

Data Sharing

We DO NOT sell your personal information.

We share your information only:

• With members of your organization and workspaces
• With service providers who help us run the app (they can't use your data for other purposes)
• If required by law

Your Rights

You can:

• Access your personal information
• Update your profile
• Delete your account
• Request a copy of your data

Account Deletion and Retention

You can request account deletion at www.logkeeper.com/delete-account.

• We process deletion requests within 90 days of a verified request.
• Deleted data includes your personal account profile information, authentication credentials, and account access.
• In shared companies and projects, content required for project continuity (such as messages, photos, documents, and logs) may remain available to other members and may be shown as created by a deleted user.
• We may retain security logs and records required by law for up to 90 days, unless a longer legal retention period is required.

Children's Privacy

Logkeeper is not intended for children under 18.
